Jacob & Joan | Jordan River Temple Wedding

I met Joan and Jacob for the first time in February when me and my sister decided to visit our other sister in Wyoming. We brought all 6 children (all under the age of 6) and one of the days we were there my sister invited a bunch of their college friends over for games and that is when I met Joan and Jacob for the first time. All their friends were so nice and sweet with our kiddos and we had so much fun playing games with them all, that night. They were all super welcoming! You could tell that Joan and Jacob had this sense of comfort with each other like they had known each other for a long time. I was so excited when they reached out to me a few months later asking me to take their photos for their wedding!

They decided to get married in Utah because it was a good central location for all of their family, since they are scattered all over. and it was such a beautiful thing to witness how much love their was for this couple as everyone there had traveled a good distance to come! From family members to friends! They had tacos at their reception made by her grandma and the help of many others. It was some of the best food I have ever had at a wedding! It was so fun seeing all their college friends come down for the wedding and be able to see the group of people that were there when I first met them!

The weather was on and off rainy all day, but through many answered prayers. It was all sunshine during the ceremony in the morning, rained during the indoor Lunch-in and then was sunny/cloudy for the photos outside the temple. It started raining shortly before we finished photos. But the timing of it all was honestly miraculous!

They decided to end the day with their sealing in the Jordan River Temple and it was a beautiful ending to a perfect day! I am so happy for these two and know that they have a beautiful life ahead!!
