WOW!! I don’t even know where to start. This was my first time putting together a styled shoot and oh my goodness it was so much work but I would do it again a million times!! This Mount Spokane elopement styled shoot was everything!! BUT how to put one on will have to be a blog post on it’s own. Haha. Being new-ish to the area I wanted to connect with vendors & work with local businesses. It has been so fun getting to know so many amazing TALENTED creatives in the area. I even had another photographer join last minute to come get some pictures too. She was the sweetest and also helped with behind the scenes footage and setting up. First off, the vendors that I worked with were ALL sooo amazing!! I could not have done any of this without Sydney at Piece of Harmony Events. She is seriously so awesome at what she does & took care of pretty much everything! If you need a wedding or event planner, she will make your life 1000% easier and stress free!! I needed that! She took care of getting all the props & setting them up before I even got there, AMAZING! She brought all the odds & ends that I never would have even thought to bring. Sydney coordinated the flowers with the florists and picked out the perfect dresses from the dress shop. Thank you SO much Sydney for making my vision come to life!! She is a dream to work with!!
Christina with Christina Rose Floral absolutely killed the floral!! The flower arrangements & bouquets she made were STUNNING. It was honestly better than my vision board. Haha. She even came to the shoot and was seriously so helpful and so sweet!! She took some awesome behind the scenes and even added some flowers to the cake (with Jenn’s permission of course) to tie everything in! The cake was not only perfect but DELICIOUS!! I feel like making a cake both look & taste good is not always easy but Jenn with Jenn’s Custom Bakes nailed it!! It was exactly what I wanted and she even let me use her cake stand, she’s the best!! Jenn makes all kinds of yummy goodies and makes the CUTEST cookies!!
The models were so sweet and even though they didn’t all know each other before the shoot they meshed so well together. Their personalities were so fun and happy!! I knew Erynn and Taylor before hand but I found Hailey, Brittni & Molly on Instagram and they are my new BFF’s. Haha. But seriously could not have asked for a better group. Hailey and her FIANCEE, Brandon were the bride and groom. OH MY CUTE. He got so emotional seeing her in the wedding dress and it was seriously the sweetest moment. Like I was tearing up. I LOVE THEM! It was the perfect little trial run for their big day!!
Craft Studio Spokane was so AMAZING to work with and the cutest salon in town!! They are all the nicest humans and so talented. They took the time out of their busy day to do BOTH the hair and makeup for the girls! If you ever need a cut, color, or style you NEED to go to them! The owner, Danielle, was so helpful and so sweet to set it up for us! They are a hair studio, barbery & dry bar all in one. How fun is that!? The stylists, Abby and Shelby, were the stylists that got the girls ready and their work is BEAUTIFUL. Check out their pages to see more of their work!!
THE DRESSES. You guys all of them were so gorgeous!! The bride’s dress, the long veil and the bridesmaid dresses were all from Cloud Nine Bridal in Coeur d’Alene. Sydney set up an appointment with them and they were so great about everything. They let us try on the dresses to find the perfect ones and pick them up the day of the shoot. The bridesmaid dresses were all different styles, the most amazing color and the wedding dress was PERFECTION. If you are ever looking for your special day, don’t miss out on this cute shop!! They have an awesome selection!
Kendra with Crimson Calligraphy is so talented and I am so obsessed with all the things she creates! Her handwriting is so pretty, that is definitely a talent I wish I had!! She made the cutest name cards for the place settings and the sweetest wedding sign. If you need any wedding invitations, event signs, or home decor she is your gal!! The Attic is an event rental company specializing in one of a kind vintage pieces & decor for special events. They let us use the cute sweethearts table and chairs! It was the perfect centerpiece of the shoot!! Follow them for some awesome inspiration! They are located in Northern Idaho and have some really cool velvet couches and fun pieces!!
