The Harwood Family : Mount Spokane

I cannot say enough good things about the Harwood family!!

Hannah was my very first friend when we moved to Spokane when I was 10 years old. Her mom may have had to force her to hangout with me back then, but none the less, 10+ years later we are still friends 😉 We seriously have done a lot of growing up together, we made it through all the awkward stages that come with being a teenager all the way to being bridesmaids at each other’s weddings, to being pregnant at the same, to having our kids play together and now Hannah is pregnant again, I guess that’s my que 😉 LOL jk.

But really we have seen each other through a lot of years and I am grateful to be close with her to this day. Her and Jacob are actually some of the very first people I ever took photos of, so it is so fun to see the difference that 3 years has made!

Nichole has also been a huge part of my life, not only because she was my best friends mom growing up, but also because she was my leader at church on several occasions and has helped with so many things over the years from my wedding reception to my baby shower. She is so fun to be around and is always one to make you laugh! I am grateful for all the things she has done for me in my life.

Hannah and Jacob actually picked me up for this beautiful family/senior session at the top of Mount Spokane and we didn’t realize we were almost out of gas until about halfway up the mountain and at that point it would have been too late to turn around, so of course we said a prayer and got the feeling we should park the car at a stop before our destination and have the second car come back and get us after dropping the other people off at the top.

If you have driven to the top you know that the last 6ish miles to the top is very narrow and steep and if you were to run out of gas going up it, it could be very dangerous. I don’t know what would have happened if we had kept driving, but I truly believe our prayers were answered when we got the feeling to leave the car in the lower parking.

We didn’t have as much time as we had planned, but the photos turned out SO good!! Yet another blessing from this night! This family is so much fun to be around and I am so glad they trust me to not only get family photos of them, but some senior pics for Zach!

Love you forever Harwood Family!!
