Austin, Megan & their little man Trussler are the cutest fam & were so much fun to capture in this beautiful Saltese Uplands family session! I have so many little connections with them & I have loved getting to know them better during their family sessions! Austin & I went to the same high school, he was in my sisters grade & they were friends. My brother-in-law worked at EFY with Megan so that was another fun connection. They are so fun & I love the friendship that has come from taking their photos!
This is the third time I have taken their photos & it is so so fun to see the transformation over time of their growing family. The first time I took their photos was a year after they got married in 2018, the second time I took their photos Trussler was just 1 month old & we did a beautiful indoor lifestyle session, and now again with Trussler growing by the minute.
At this last session, we found a gorgeous setting to capture some awesome family photos with vibrant colors! This Saltese Uplands family session has me convinced that True to Color has my heart…..is that crazy!? Also, It had been raining all day so I was worried we would have to reschedule but I literally prayed all day & the rain held out, it was amazing! It started sprinkling toward the end so it literally just gave us the perfect window to shoot their session, thank the heavens! The stormy rain clouds made for perfect lighting too. It was a bit chilly but they were troopers & Trussler did so good!
Trussler is now 9 months old which makes for a really fun age to capture. I love working with families & promise to always do my best to make your kiddos laugh & look at the camera! *que my high pitch baby talk voice haha! Megan’s mom came to the session as well & was so helpful taking behind the scenes footage for me & making Trussler happy or getting him to look at me. Support at family sessions is always welcome, the more the merrier!
